South African young superstar Nasty C didn’t waste time to jump on OVO Sound CEO Drake’s beat of the G.O.O.D. Music boss Pusha T diss track titled “Duppy”, as he gives us a freestyle treatment which he performed on Factory78
While the original was a rap hit directed in a particular direction, The Young Hyena Nasty C, whose real name is Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo however gives a wide shot as he reminds everyone that he is in the rap game to lead and raps: “Me and these niggas ain’t really friends/Don’t take their calls, I just make them talk to the middle man.”
And considering the way the 031 rapper had spit fire on his previous numbers such as his smash hits “Hell Naw”, “Juice Black” and his recent releases which came as a storm, “King” on which he featured American rapper, A$AP Ferg, and “Jungle”, it was little surprise to see him lay bars on this freestyle.
And while it looked from the video that the lines were prewritten, it was still very much a display of talent While, he took “King” and “Jungle” of his forthcoming album, “Strings and Bling”, which is expected to be released sometime soon, the “Said” rapper obviously uses this to whet our appetite as we await the highly anticipated project.
